Overview

Time Warner was a merge of two different companies established in 1990, Time Inc and Warner communications. Although Warner Media now has many spin off companies and is one of the largest media conglomerates in the world they were not always this huge. They started out as merely a film producing company producing films until they were eventually producing some of the hottest new movies. All was going well until in the 1950s they faced a problem that many other film producing companies did. Television was on the rise and was becoming big competition for Time Warner. This happened again later on with video games, hence why Warner Media branched out into the video game industry.Warner Media have kept increasing their portfolio massively and are now responsible for many spin off companies and have branched out into all kinds of media including video games, which is what we need you for. Video games make up a very large portion of media and is only increasing, Some assets owned by Warner Media are, Home Box Office Inc, Turner Broadcasting System, Warner Bros Entertainment and under these larger names many other smaller assets. In short Warner Media has a massive conglomerate and is only going to keep on growing which is why we need new members like you.

About the Job

What kind of person are we looking for? 
This job is for someone with a creative mind that will flourish when both working individually and as part of a team. Here at Warner Media we are looking for someone who is original and will excel at creating new games based off some of our own movies.
What kinds of tasks can you expect to be doing?
We are always looking for new ideas and characters for our media, we are always working on new things, hence we need you to create the next big game that will drive people crazy and will be the talking point for everyone. We expect you to frequently come up with fresh video game ideas based of Warner Media movies that will be popular and hopefully make many sales.
Requirements for the job
You must of either taken Media in college or have taken a media course at university and have passed, no exceptions. Ideally we want someone with up to three years experience in animation or in creative media. When it comes to qualifications we want someone with any of the following, Associate of Arts in Animation, Bachelor of Media Arts in Animation or Bachelor of  Fine Arts in Animation. If you do not meet these requirements then we will consider you under special circumstances.
How much will you be earning?
Starting off you would be earning a salary of 50,000 to 60,000 USD however with more experience and as you get better you could be earning over 100,000 after just five years. Enough to buy that nice car you always wanted.
Other bonuses
Depending on your success you could earn money on top of your salary, however there more bonuses to this job than just money. As part of the Warner Media family you will get to see exclusive sneak peaks, discounts on many products, generous holidays and many more.

Synergy proposal

If you became part of the Warner Media family there is a chance that you could used in horizontal integration. This means that you would work back and forth between different parts of the Warner Media company. For example for a while you could be working under the Warner Bros Pictures part of the company, however if it is decided that synergy is a option that would benefit the company then you may be working as part of a merged group. Picture that a movie made by Warner Bros Pictures does extremely well and it is decided that making a game would be a profitable move then it would be decided that through a synergy they would create a game along side a company like Activision. You as the Character Artist would work alongside Activision to create a game based off the Warner Bros Pictures movie.

Guilty pleasures

My guilty is that I am quite partial to some Taylor Swift, I’m not too keen on her new music but I enjoy listening to some old Taylor Swift. I started to enjoy her music a couple of years ago and to this day I still enjoy it. The reason I think that her music is good is because I think it is some of the last good pop music, I like the fact that loads of people love her music and I truly beleive there is not much better that being at a party and some Taylor Swift coming on. For many years Taylor refused to have her songs put on Spotify as she believed that artists did not get enough credit for there work from Spotify however she now has all of her songs on Spotify. Most of her albums had been highly successful however her most successful album to date is her 2006 album “Taylor Swift”. First Person Shooters First person shooters have been around for many years and are  continuously dominating the gaming seen with huge titles like Call of Duty and Battlefield being some of the most notorious titles. For the sake of this presentation I am going to be basing the typical conventions of on the campaigns.
