Fitness Adverts I have a keen interest in fitness and going to the gym, hence forth I am subscribed and actively watch many fitness bloggers on YouTube. A specific example of one of these channels that I watch is "David Laid". He is a fitness influencer and uploads vlogs of him and his friends going to the gym and giving tips and advice. Once I started watching these fitness influencers I began to notice a change in the adverts that were being presented to me. Rather than seeing usual food, game, or shopping adverts i began to notice that the adverts i was getting were more tailored to me, examples include: gym supplements, gym clothing, workout plans. The reason for this was because I was accepted cookies from YouTube and therefore they were able to use my watch history to be more tailored to me. This then carried on to my amazon where I noticed I was being recommended products related to the gym. Technology Adverts Another time I noticed that I was once again bei...

Cross-media ownership enables synergy since if a company wants to make one of their pieces of media available to another source of media then they might merge with another company to create the new piece of media. An example if synergy from a media conglomerate would be if a large media company like 20th Century Fox wanted to make one of their films into a game then they may use synergy to merge with a game company such as Activision in order to create the game. Production job, Advertising job, Merchandising and Distribution. An Editor would be part of the production sector of a company and would edit the piece of media to make it better.
