Be able to evaluate research data used by media institutions.

Techniques and Methods: 
  • Primary- Data that you have got/found out yourself.
  • Secondary- Data that you get from someone else.
  • Qualitative- Only getting a small amount of data but very detailed data.
  • Quantitive- Getting a lot of data that is statistics or a simple yes or no.
Why do media companies do research?
  • Media companies do research into their target market to see what they like and/or dislike.
